Hoovering In the 200s

It is in the single digits outside but inside Graysons blood sugar levels have been hanging around the mid 200s since last nights site change. I hate, probably not as much as he does, putting in another new site just after doing it last night but something is off. I have given it some time to correct itself while watching it closely but I am feeling something must be up with the site. Even last night at midnight he was in the mid 200s and a correction bolus then should have had him in his target range this morning. Breakfast mid 200s again - So in order to save the day and insure he can go ski with Mark at lunch I put in another site. He hates this but better be safe than sorry. I will check him in an hour to see if his blood sugar is dropping. When I pulled the old site out it looked fine - no kinks - so I do not know. If not - maybe just fresh insulin........ now just wait and see......

That is the thing about diabetes - you just never know - it is like a guessing game that never ends.

My last acts in Whitefish - changing infusion sites and shoveling snow :)
I will miss the boys and the snow. See you Grayson and Marshall in 2011!!
