Why I did not come up with this idea, I do not know. But Bayer nailed it! The new Didget Meter Rocks! It connects to a Nintendo DS and Grayson earns points to play a game by testing regulary and achieving his target blood sugar levels. He begs to test now and has even become more aware of his levels. I was not sure if this would be a good idea or not - I did not want to associate a game with testing and his diabetes BUT it has brought a new awareness to him that I believe will grow into good habits - AND hey it is fun!
